General Information
Current Name: Tumblekit (Tumblestep) Tumble - For his wandering as a kit kit- Age Past names: Nicknames: Age: 6 moons Gender: Transgender Male (FtM) Sexual Orientation: undecided Birth Date: November 30th (sagittarius) Creation Date: 2-6 AM on Apil 11th, 2020 |
Personality:
A more of a loner of a tom, not because he wants to be but because he is not the best in social interactions. He’s bad at starting conversations and staying on track, so unless another cat takes the initiative he is usually alone. He’s awkward and tumbles over his words but loves a good joke and will tell one to whatever cat will listen. He has a hard time expressing his emotions or dealing with others’, especially sadness or grief, he has zero clue how to console another cat.
Despite his aloof personality, he is a fast learner with a good memory, he repeats things to himself over and over and then it will stick to his brain. He is afraid of being the first to answer questions or show off any of his skills, fearing either getting something wrong in front of his peers or being viewed as a ‘know-it-all’ or ‘goody-two-paws.’ Loud noises or any repetitive noises (breathing, chewing, snoring, etc.) annoy him to no end but he also can’t deal with silence. He often sits in places where he can listen to others’ calm conversations, not to eavesdrop but just for the background noise.
He thrives in hunting because of his sensitive nose and ears, but this is not very well known by his clanmates as he finds it difficult to work well with/in front of other cats. He has a very hard time in battles, in training he does alright, not good but not terrible. In an actual battle, however, he panics. He can’t think and forgets any tactics he may have previously learnt, he is essentially dead weight, needing to be protected by his allies instead of being a formidable enemy to the opposing side.
He has found it hard to sit still since he was a kit, he’s always needed to move around. When he’s sat doing nothing he’ll flex his claws, tap his paws, push dirt around, anything to keep himself moving. This is sometimes viewed as annoying or has others taking offence thinking he’s bored with their conversation. He’s a good listener even if he’s easily distracted, though he most likely won’t reply, or if he does it’ll be a joke or with something that makes it seem like he wasn’t listening.
Every once in awhile he’ll isolate himself from everyone else, feeling unable to participate or feel excited by things that he’d usually enjoy. It lasts a few days at most and happens pretty rarely as he is, most of the time, pretty upbeat. He is not good with physical affection, he hates sharing tongues, sleeping next to other cats, even brushing against them while walking. He is typically not an angry cat, but invade his personal space or make an annoying sound around him and he might just snap at you.
Becoming friends with him means you’ve signed up for a lifetime of cheesy jokes and puns, he’s quite the talkative cat when given the chance in an environment he feels comfortable. Though he does not often speak out how he feels about things, he has very easy to read mannerisms and expressions, you are sure to know whether or not he likes something just by looking at him. He pouts, glares, smiles, furrows his brow all without thinking, maybe not even realizing himself how exactly he feels. If he’s nervous he will sink in on himself, which is his usual way of being and has left him with pretty terrible posture.
Because of his fear of being incorrect in front of others, he can often become argumentative when he does decide to speak up, this usually only occurs with his close friends or family, those he feels most comfortable around. Let’s say he said the wrong steps to a certain hunting technique, then afterwards he will refuse to be proven wrong out of fear of being perceived as stupid, he does this by either insisting it is actually correct even when called out, act like he had said the correct thing and the other person misheard, or just denying he ever said anything, to begin with.
